Shimon Abuhatzira (Hebrew: שמעון אבוחצירא‎) is an Israeli football Striker currently playing for Ironi Kiryat Shmona.

He became the top scorer of the 2008–09 Israeli Premier League.

On 21 May 2009, it was said that Abuhatzira agreed to sign a 2 year contract with Greek club Larissa without of Hapoel Petah Tikva permission. On June 22, 2009 Larissa's official website named him as a newcomer on an article about the club's first training for the 2009–10 season.[1] The official announcement about his transfer was made on July 1, 2009.[2]

On 15 January 2011, he returned on loan to Israel and signed with Ironi Kiryat Shmona. On November he signed a 4 years contract with the club.

Personal life

On 18 May 2009, Abuhatzira married his girlfriend Reut in a Jewish ceremony at Tel Ya, a wedding hall in the Tel Yitzhak.[3]
